Living Sans Frontieres (LSF), Incorporated is an organization incorporated in the state of Maryland under the auspices of Developmental Disabilities Administration.
We provide community and residentially, supported services to individuals with “unique abilities”. To that end, LSF assists individuals to constructively integrate into neighborhoods /communities of choice and gain meaningful employment, when possible.
LSF strives to provide residential and support services to adults with “unique abilities”. LSF's goal is to empower the individuals that we serve by gearing them towards relative independence. LSF believes that, the best way to achieve independence, is to encourage individuals to exercise the right of choice by offering and helping them to explore a wide spectrum of preferences.
LSF strives to provide specialized living arrangements to all eligible individuals without discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, national origin, marital status, and/or “unique abilities”
Transparency and inclusion are the crux of our success. Essentially, we run an open program by encouraging active participation of proponents. Deliberately, LSF makes a concerted effort to harness the invaluable input of proponents and other stakeholders. This is evidenced by, among others, the integral inculcation of proponents’ perspectives into our policies and procedures and participation as members of our Board and Quality Assurance Committees. The net effect of these operational principles serve as checks and balances to ensure that individuals’ rights are never in breach.
